Westfield Albany
Story: Westfield developed a large shopping centre in the rapidly growing Albany basin on Auckland’s North Shore. Providing the usual mix of large department stores, anchor tenants and mid sized and smaller speciality stores, Albany Westfield was an ambitious construction that has since proved a popular retail destination. Temperzone units were used to provide optimum comfort in this busy and sucessful construction with 70,000 m2 of indoor space (49,000 m2 and 21,000 m2 offices) Location: Auckland Units: Approximately 60 rooftop units with a total cooling capacity of 7,000kW (the largest unit is 180kW) Contractor: Hastie |
